The location is convenient. I am a solo female traveler. I felt safe there the whole time. Each bed in the shared dorm room has a small storage area which can be locked with a key. It's big enough for two standard-size backpacks.

The place was exceptionally clean and modernized. It's sketchy outside, but the hotel is nicer than i anticipated. It seems to be primarily a dormitory for youth on tours or sports trips and can be a bit noisy, but all was quiet by 9.pm. Our room for my wife, me, and son, was private with three twin beds. I found only one english channel on TV: Cinemax, captioned in Chinese. Full sized coin-operated washer and dryer were a welcome sight. Breakfast was Chinese -- lots of noodles and broth.

I was very impressed with this hostel, a last minute emergency booked and checked in late but great service in English and good facilities, within 15 minute walk to Taipei main station.

There is a hotel employee who lives in the unit, and believes he is staying long term. There is no problem with this, He is also a nice boy, but the problem is that because he is staying for a long time, the only common area of the room is occupied by his clothes and shoes to dry, we even have no enough of space to open our own suitcases, but every staff is very warm and helpful.

Very convenient area! My son left his gift on the bed and checked out. He called the hotel in the evening and tried to get it back. Fortunately, the hotel staff found it and called back to keep it. After he came back hotel from other places, he got it back from front desk. It’s very nice and cared staffs. Really appreciate them.

At first I had mistakenly booked a dorm room with 2 bunk beds which I thought I would be alone the first night I was alone then I realized they did have private rooms so for a small difference in price they accomodated me !!

Nicely situated next to Ningxia night market, walking distance to Carrefour & Shuanglian mrt station. Lift from ground level to 2nd level (hotel). However as our room has windows next to the street level, frequent ambulance siren can be heard. Not enough parallel bars in toilet area to hang towels, though the toilet is pretty spacious and clean. Some of the towels very pretty old and torn. Very happy to know that the hotel breakfast has been extended from the previous 930 to 10am. Breakfast is simple and nice with 4 different main dishes everyday. If you are tired of the hotel breakfast, there are several food stall are ground level as it is a market during the day. At night, certain food stall are also open for business. If not, there's always night market. Overall, a value for money accommodation, definitely my choice for my third visit.
