"Have stayed at this hotel many times. Location is good. Lots of dining options. Even though it’s an old hotel, rooms have been renovate. It’s always my first choice when i’m on business trips to Tainan."

"This is a great place to stay in Tainan, two minutes walk to one historic sites and plenty of great street food near by! Hotel is clean and well decorated with classy interior design. Wonderful staffs and amenities. Breakfast is delicious too."

"While the staff were very friendly, some of the facilities definitely need improvement. For example, the sofas showed signs of wear, and the towels were thin and frayed from use. The elevator wait time was too long. I understand the room amenities are mandated by policy, but the lack of even a comb was really inconvenient. The staff in the children's play area and the restaurant staff were excellent, but because of the staggered entry, the food on the counter was quickly devoured by the large group of guests. Many dishes, like salad lettuce and fried eggs, took a long time to be replenished."

"1.The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. However, the sofa bed was not very comfortable to sleep on. 2.The lounge happy hour service was excellent, with staff assisting in preparing delicious cocktails. Unfortunately, the hot food selection was somewhat lacking and could be improved. 3.The parking signage was a bit confusing."

"Parking is safe and easy. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly, but the only thing needs to be adjusted will be tissue i the room. There’s no tissue placed for people staying in the room."

"We were at the hotel for one night and City Place Hotel in Tainan did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and very modern. It was also super helpful to have English speaking staff and concierge service. Staff was very helpful and we were able to leave our baggage for the day after checkout for no extra fee. "

"Smart hotel in the centre of the old town about 15 mins walk from the station. Friendly staff and easy check-in. Large, comfortable, clean & quiet room with good WiFi & bathroom. Breakfast offerings were a bit strange but it's Taiwan not Twickenham."
