"I was glad we had a mandarin speaker with us to call the proprietor when we arrived as we didnt know what to do when everything was locked up. But once we called and he arrived, it was an awesome place to stay. Loved the location in historic Tainan (only street parking a couple blocks away available) and all four of us found it very roomy with a nice shared sitting area/kitchen outside our private room. And free snacks upon arrival. I hope to stay there again some day!"

Housekeeping took off the AC vents for every room to clean and disinfect daily! I’ve never seen that, not even for five star hotels. The management team and ownership really cares about the establishment and customers. Based on the price point, it’s truly best bang for your bucks in Tainan area. One thing I believe they can improve on will be the laundry facility. It’s located outside of the property and even though it’s controlled access, it’s very dark inside and there might be some safety concerns IMHO. Other than that, this hotel is perfect. "
"Chez Poky is the BEST B&B in Tainan. It exceeds 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. It's well designed, beautifully decorated, and the host, Poky Hsu is friendly, helpful and gave us the VIP treatment, as I'm sure he does with all his guest. His guidance and recommendations for Tainan are spot on! The Taiwanese breakfasts served were delicious with beverage and fruit. The amenities were plentiful, including thick plush cotton towel, complimentary snacks and beverages. Poky recommended a specialty dessert place called Katsura, which we would have never tried without him telling us

"This is my second time staying at Fushin Hotel because of the good experience I had last year. They didn't disappoint this year with free shuttle service, comfortable and spacious room, delicious breakfast, free self laundry service, and friendly staff.
