Overall a decent hotel, not a standout. They advertise an arcade/game room, it was closed for renovation, no adjustment offered. Pool looks beautiful in pictures, it was nice but small, no shade, only 1 chaise lounge. A/C wasn't cooling, they sent up a technician to clean it, then it worked fine (kudos for that). Breakfast was included in our rate, but buffet was limited, not high quality, mostly Filipino food. We stayed 5 nights, when a big group left they did not have buffet but did offer us breakfast off the menu which was actually much better. NO info in the room on anything - no menu for their restaurant, no price list for their on-site spa, no TV channel listings, no tourist info, NOTHING! Hotel is across the road from the volcano, there is NO view of volcano, but we did have a nice view of other hills from our balcony. They could have made the balcony SO much better by putting a simple little table and 2 chairs there, we had to drag a big table and chairs out there every night, and the hotel staff would drag it back in every day. They only offer a heavy comforter on the bed, no top sheet. It doesn't get THAT cold there! Hotel is not within walking distance for anything, but tricycles are readily available across the road.
Would not stay there again, would stay at another hotel within walking distance of some of the fabulous restaurants in the area.
