I have been staying at the Savoy for more than 50 years, I am pleased that the facility continues to offer a very good standard of accommodation, Despite the fact that its building and facilities are a little dated compared with some of the newest alternatives, I like it that way! James

The hotel was so much nicer than I expected! The bed was very comfortable and warm. Every night when I returned everything was cleaned and organized so well. The staff was very helpful with answering all my questions. I also love how there was a kitchen area in the lobby that makes preparing quick breakfast, or in my case one night ramen, easy! My favorite part of my stay was the convenient location. There were several restaurants and stores right below and the public transportation is fairly easy to walk to! It’s an easy bus ride to Bondi beach and rose bay. And a quick train ride to the city. There’s also a park less than 5 minute walk from the hotel and the double bay beach wharf is about 7 mins. My only complaint was the laundry facility. It was just one room and the dryer was outside in the lobby area. Not very private for doing my laundry. But it got the job done! Overall, I would definitely choose to stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

We always try to stay here when visiting Sydney, the location is perfect. This hotel provides excellent value for money, basic hotel but we don’t travel to spend our time in the hotel. Staff are always friendly.

Fabulous room. King bed and plenty of space. Very clean and comfortable. And very affordable for Double Bay. Fabulous location too. Parking could be a problem but we found spots pretty easily.
