Unique hotel with some minor issues
It was a unique place to stay, it had an old charm about it but a few small flaws. The bed was uncomfortable, the toilet seat was broken. The rooms were outdated and there was no coffee pod machine as per the photos. The location was great, very close to the city and it was a very short walk to the station. Some nice cafes in the area. Friendly staff.

Staff was friendly, cleaning crew was thorough. Location was convenient to the kings cross station. It was a great stay. The only slight problem we encountered was the elevator not working 100% of the time.

My stay at Regent Court was great, they provided an excellent customer service and were diligent when needed. They really made sure that my family and I enjoyed our stay. It was very close to shops and transport which is very useful. I recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Sydney.

The beds were so uncomfortable. Horrible place to find when you’re checking in late and knowing what to or where you’re going. The parking wasn’t under the building, we misplaced the elevator pass so many times. This place is definitely not recommended for anyone that smaller children.

Everything was at your fingertips, restaurants , cafes , grocery stores and public transport . The staff were so helpful and approachable always wanting to know if everything was to our standard. Just beautiful. Oh and the roof top has a beautiful calming atmosphere, will definitely return.

Wrong first impression - Highly recommend
We arrived late and was a bit confused as there was no hotel sign and the key was left in a lockbox, which was a challenge by itself to open. We rescued another visitor who was clueless about how to get in. Since we were visitors we didn't know what to expect and were not sure about the neighborhood. A couple of loud guys who passed us made us worried more. The hotel was going through remodeling so was a little dusty near the entrance. We complained and were offered a refund even though the booking was non-refundable. We decided to stay and we are glad we did. The next day we found the neighborhood very charming with great restaurants and markets nearby and short walk from metro. The room had everything we needed and was tastefully furnished. Only weakness was the water pressure. The elevator is antique but we learned to like it. Great bang for the buck. We will be back.

The property is convenient to public transport, and the buzzing Kings Cross, the downside is it noisy and the lower floors are affected by the bright street lighting as the blinds don’t provide total blockout or privacy from adjacent buildings. Darlinghurst and the Sydney CBD are within an easy walking distance. The rooms are spacious with usual amenities for an Apartment Hotel.

Wasn't told there was works being completed at the building, we had scaffolding right at our window. The A/C was so loud it sounded like an aeroplane right inside our room so we had to turn it off, the room was then hot. No accessible powerpoints around the bed. The noise from the rooms echos so loudly it's impossible to sleep, especially with the person next door coming home early morning and then continuing to throw his guts up. The bed was lumpy and the pillows uncomfortable. Made it through for one night but wouldn't stay again. You get what you pay for I suppose

The hotel is in an amazing part of Sydney, no bout. However, we were not informed at booking that the hotel was undergoing internal and exterior renovation (this would have influenced our decision to stay). We had to endure dust, noise and trades just entering and leaving. That said, the most offensive moment was the morning of check out and wanting to get breakfast out. It was pooring rain and we were told by reception that there were no umbrellas, a hotel staff member was outside under his umbrella, we wanted to enter through the front door but as a tradesman was doing sanding, we were told to take the side entry. We asked if we could borrow his umbrella as it was poorig with rain and he was able to go through the front, only to be told sorry, no! Not even an offer to take us around individually to avoid getting any more wet. This is the level of customer service you can expect at this hotel.

Apologies you were unaware of the works here at Regents Court, we are extremely conscious of communicating this on all our online platforms,as you experienced, it is not something you can hide. I can see you booked with Wotif, which unfortunately we are not affiliated with and have no control over what information they post or where they post it, which can be frustrating as you have learned.That Friday was particularly torrential in the morning, while we do have umbrellas for guests, they were all borrowed for the day and I cannot give out personal umbrellas, the one you pointed to was another guest's and not ours to lend out. We did ask you kindly to use the side access to avoid the dust from the tradesman, our team member did not want to subject you to this, dust and rain are an awful combination. We are sorry that our customer service did not meet your expectations and we value this feedback as this is something we pride ourselves on and apologise you feel we missed the mark on this occasion.Kindest, Alex @ RC

Staff were very friendly and helpful. excellent location, close to Kings Cross train station and walking distance to the CBD. Room was very large, however needs a revamp. Bathroom was small and cramped compared to the size of the room, toilet seat didn't fit the toilet properly so was uncomfortable to use, shower head pointed at face or feet no in-between. Overall, a reno would bring this property up to date.

I stayed there before it’s home away from home you can cook in the kitchenette if you want to there are many places to eat just a small walking distance. Also shops nearby where to can do your grocery shopping transport nearby just love the area. If you enjoy walking you can walk to Botanical Gardens and towards Opera House. The hotel makes you feel like you’re living in 1920’s, hotel receptionists were very knowledgeable about the area and were very helpful. Even though the hotel was going through the renovations it was not too noisy we didn’t have any issues. You can get free access to the gym nearby also lovely rooftop garden to enjoy. I would definitely stay again.

The room was clean and tidy. The staff where lovely as well. Parking was easy once we had the fob but arriving late at night requires us to get the fob from the room first which is inconvenient. Would recommend

Arrived only to find my key in a padlock on the gate, to which I was not provided a code for. I spent half an hour in the rain, with my car parked in a no parking zone due to poor parking arrangements around the area, trying to call the hotel to get my code. I finally got through. I was wet, late for dinner and incredibly stressed by the experience. I will never book here again.

My misunderstanding, when I called you prior to arriving and asked if you received your code for the padlock and after-hours information as you were arriving late, I assumed you knew what I was referring to as you did not indicate that you hadn't received this (this is why I called you on the day of arrival), of course, if I knew you hadn't received it (sometimes it ends up in the junk mail) I would have re-sent it with the parking instructions that I sent you, which you confirmed you did receive. I generally don’t like to leave a bad review, but we were pretty disappointed with our stay. The photos of this property paint the property in a very glamorous light, and I would say they are misleading as the room we stayed in was not as bright and updated as the pics seem. However our biggest disappointment was with the bedding, the room we booked was meant to sleep 4, with a queen sized bed and a pull out lounge. The pull out lounge could not be slept on, the frame was buckled and had only a few springs left, so the mattress did not lay flat. The mattress was also less than desirable with the springs sticking out. When we asked for a second mattress, we were provided with a foam topper, which was not sufficient to make the bed sleep-able. As a result our children slept on the mattress on the floor. The reception was not open randomly at various times, and as we had a very busy schedule we were not able to ask for help when it was convenient to us. The parking situation is also pretty terrible, with the paid parking being a 10 minute walk away. Whilst this was manageable due to the ages of our children, some clarity around this would be helpful, because I would imagine it would be very difficult if you did have smaller kids. The kitchenette was also not stocked with resources to make it self sufficient for a family of 4. The complementary milk in the fridge was off.

My sincerest apologies regarding the foam topper, when your partner asked me about a solution to the mattress and I offered the foam mattress topper I did not realise you were asking for another mattress, my apologies for the miscommunication, I did not realise you were not happy with this solution. While we do have private parking, this needs to be booked in advanced, alternatively we have vouchers to Secure Parking (4 minute walk from the hotel) my apologies if you were not given the quickest route to walk to and from. I will also raise with the housekeeping staff around the milk, this is not our usual standard and we will be sure this is rectified. We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback so we can be sure to fix these problems. Hopefully, our reception can return to normal hours in the coming weeks and we appreciate your understanding as to why we are on reduced hours. Brilliant!!
It was amazing boutique hotel having a sense of 1930’s but the room was completely refurbished with modern style! The room was spotless and spacious. The view in the room was beautiful and the view from the rooftop garden was breathtaking! The room was ready for us early in the morning so that we could get early check-in perfectly. The staff in the reception was very kind and helpful. Moreover, it is very close to the train station and local shops and restaurants are nearby!

Great well styled modern apartment/studio
Very close to transport, restaurants, cafe's and nightlife but in nice quiet spot. Interior very tastefully done. Very comfortable bed with good quality linens. Same with bathroom towels. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap provided. Nicely equipped kitchen incl Nespresso machine (incl some capsules) and a microwave. Good wifi. Our apartment was not serviced but possible for extra $. Might be inly for towels etc though. We were on the fourth floor and our room was airy and light. Ceiling fans as well as aircon. Big sliding windows open. There was very little to no outside noise coming inside. Check in was quick and property assistant friendly and helpful. Most definitely will stay here again.

Cheap and convenient.
Room is big but furnishings are outdated. Can't complain due to the cheap cost. Relatively clean but I had seen a few small cockroaches in the kitchen area. My room was on the 1st floor near the laneway so got a bit noisy at times. Toiletries provided were divine, but you only got 1 set for the entire stay. Convenient to train & shops.
