Quite and perfect location, basic level clean, really old and to me was a hostel/ backpacker vibe. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The property is needing some maintenance, you need to let consumers know about the narrow staircase as this isn’t conducive to all patrons. It is over priced.

Such nice folks. They even let us keep our bags on site behind the counter after checkout the day of our departure so that we could enjoy the beach before our friend picked us up at 5. Would have been a massive bummer to haul our luggage everywhere. Because of them we got to head south on the coastal trail and check out more of the fauna.

Great place
Great place. Wonderful location across the street from the beach and next door to fun restaurants. Staff was wonderful. Extremely helpful. Rooms are small but for the price you get a really good deal.

Loved our 2 day stay at Dive. Very convenient across from the beach and quiet, for a peaceful sleep. Sure, property a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the place. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Took advance and paid extra to park right at the back fence of the property. Will definitely stay here again.

Christmas stay
Stayed in Coogee over Christmas & the Dive Hotel was the perfect spot. Great location & a nice big King bed. Irfan the desk manager communicated with me via Emails before arrival & was great to deal with. As mentioned, don't expect a 5 Star Hotel but comfortable & great for the price. Would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately the room looked nothing like the photos. The bathroom was filthy and mouldy, the fridge was dirty and the furniture and tech in the room was very outdated

We are unlikely to be staying here again, even in a tight market for rooms. The bed was good and it was a quiet room, however it was dated, photo shows water views, there was works underway at the front of the place, there is no parking nearby, and stairs challenging for some - no lift. It felt like a small step up from a backpackers, and at just over $200 per night that is a pity.

I was slightly disappointed with the room. The main light and desk light weren't working and the bathroom was very old, some tiles missing and could have been cleaner. However the staff were friendly and the hotel was in a great position close to amenities and the beach across the road. Overall was ok for 1 night

Good location in Coogee
Dive Hotel is in an excellent location, just across the street from Coogee Beach. It is like a cross between a hotel and hostel, in a good way. The individual rooms and private bathrooms are like a hotel, but there is also a common area with a kitchen like a hostel. Our room was large, with a good king-sized bed. The bathroom was very small..

The property was in a fantastic location, but the floorboards are very noisy and kept us away the first night. We paid extra for a balcony but the door was so hard to open and reck we only opened it once. We had to be let in by another quest as the front door wasn't open and the phone number provided wasn't being answered.

This hotel is quite old and the decor certainly not modern. However, it so clean, comfortable and in an ideal location. We had a balcony room at the front with beautiful views of the beach and ocean just across the road. Very handy to all the shops and restaurants near by with lovely walks along the coast. Irfan, the manager was very helpful and friendly.

The location of this property is second to none. The rooms are well-equipped, simple and clean. The bed was comfortable and best of all, plenty of pressure and hot water in the shower. The profile pic can be misleading as most rooms would not have the ocean view, but it is located across from the beach. Would def stay here again in the future.

The Dive hotel is a great location, right on the beach and close to all the local venues. Classic old building , with a great spot out the back to chill if you are with a group. would stay there again.
