"We really enjoyed our stay at the Bluenose and it was very reasonably priced given the time of year we visited (late August during a weekend). Pros: - Very clean, comfortable rooms - Thoughtful touches in the rooms (vanity kits, lots of towels, bathrobes) - Beautiful and convenient location, only about 3 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor - Very nice pool and hot tub - Incredible gift shop right in the lobby—lots of books, toys, souvenirs, snacks, etc. to choose from - Live music on Saturday night was wonderful Areas for improvement: - Rooms still use actual metal keys; this was sort of eclectic in a way but at the same time was not super convenient"

"My family stayed here and loved it! The rules are very clear, which I appreciated both the rules and clarity. Room was quite large! Pool was great. Loved the location just at the end of the main street. Easy parking right at our door. We would happily stay here again!"
