The beds were fairly comfortable for me but my husband thought it was a bit lumpy and could feel springs. The beds could use a thicker blanket or spare in the closet. "If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

"The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk...

"The staff were personable and very helpful. The breakfast items were delicious. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. My only concern was the hot tub. It needs to be drained and cleaned. There was a large amount of foam with dark scum on top of the foam. Easy fix."
