"This hotel had no desk clerk, but we were able to figure out how to check in and get the room lock code. The room was large by Japanese hotel room standards. It felt like a small apartment. The area had many restaurants and shopping areas close by. The laundry room had four washer/dryers that did an excellent job. They even automatically dispensed laundry detergent, so we didn’t have to go find any at a convenience store. "

The only negative is that there was no way to control the temperature in the room apart from turning the heating off and opening the window. "A typical business hotel - clean, efficient and good value. Two very minor issues - the property is located at the 'rear' side of the station, so if arriving by train, be careful to take the right exit otherwise you may end up walking around in circles to find it. Also, the check-in is via automated self-serve screen and while there is always someone to help, can be a little confusing to anyone using this system for the first time."
