"There were no drawers in the room to put away clothes. We were put in room 222 and it was extremely noisy late at night because of proximity to pool and loud music. There was only one chair in a room with 2 people and we are seniors so sitting on the bed was not comfortable for us. We had to grab a beach chair from the pool."

"From check in to departure my stay was excellent. This is a lovely, renovated, retro motel. My room was spotless and well appointed. I enjoyed the coffee bar at the check-in area and the bar and restaurants provided great drinks and good food. I sat at the bar a listened to the Karaoke on Thursday night and ate at the Thai restaurant, which was quite good. I felt safe walking around and enjoyed dinner down the street at the Wolf and Swallow. I would definitely stay here again."

"Historic building in a serene and convenient setting, large quiet room and lots of elegant public seating areas including a cocktail /snack lounge open evenings. Decent breakfast. Didn't get to use the hot tub but the robes provided are nice too. So nice to stay in a non-chain hotel that was also reasonably priced. Wished I'd known before I left that there was a yoga studio across the street."
