"When we arrived to check in the room was not ready. Turns out they were not even aware of our booking until we showed it to them. We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. Great Bombay Saturday dinner selection - what a lovely extra surprise. Lovely, attentive and efficient staff, every one, from chefs to reception. "From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome from reception staff. The room was lovely, very comfortable and clean with a great sea view. The dining experience in their Coast Restaurant was also very good with attentive, friendly waiting staff and excellent food. A really great break away and beautifully positioned on the sea front, will definitely return!"

"Only an overnight stop on way to Dover ferry (30 min drive). Everything was very clean and large comfortably bed and bedroom overlooking the beach. Some parts of the hotel could do with a little upgrade but that didn't put me off. Staff was very polite, efficient and professional. The bar was very up to date other than it closed at 1030. That said, I'm glad as I was up at 5am. Great location, especially if you would like a walk along the esplanade/promenade which I read was over 2 miles...
