"We got a regular room very last minute and it was clean and relatively spacious for a standard room. The breakfast is great. A lot of hotel in the Faroe Islands and Scandinavia (in my experience) tend to do just bread with topping but they had warm options as well which I appreciated (scrambled and boiled eggs, waffles with syrup and whipped cream). A very good continental breakfast. The beds were also very comfortable and our room had a great view of the coast.

We had been considering a larger chain hotel up the hillside, but being right on the sea meant a quick 10 minute walk to the harbour and less taxi trips. The concierge was great for making calls for us. The afternoon tea service was delicious as well!"
"Online states "Free uncovered self parking on site." When I reached out they replied the "free parking" is on the street. The street parking outside the hotel is free yes and you have to move your car every 30 min. Screen shots posted of their advertisement and the street signs.
The 2nd solution was to park in a lot at the bottom of the hill and walk "5 min." Walk straight up hill in the pouring rain, 25 mph wind and in huge puddles of water. To then still have to move your car at least twice...
