"Avoid at all costs.
This property charged me $1,000 without any warning, accusing me of shattering a bathroom glass that they later found broken. I was given no evidence, no proof, and no opportunity to properly dispute the claim. I was absolutely not responsible for the damage, yet I was treated as if I was guilty by default.
I am astonished by how unprofessional and unfair the management handled this situation. A reputable hotel should investigate properly and communicate transparently with its guests before imposing such a significant charge.
I will never stay at this property again and will make sure to share my experience with friends, family, and fellow travelers so they can make an informed decision before booking.
Extremely disappointing experience and a complete lack of customer service. Please avoid it for your own sanity."
Holiday Inn Club Vacations Tahoe Ridge Resort by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"This was a family friendly option for a summer wedding in Tahoe. Enough space for parent, grandparent and two adult “kids”. Not fancy but comfortable."
"The AC in the room was not working and we kept calling but nobody picked up! The call was on hold and there was no one at the reception. When it was Hard Rock Cafe the service was much better! Not booking this again!"
"The staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice quiet spot for a summer stay but close enough it’s a quick drive anywhere. Nice pool area with shade, room was spacious and clean. My only complaint is the smoking area is right out front, so if your waiting for your car, or in the pool area you are subjected to second hand smoke which was a bummer especially with my kid, also if you get a room along the front you can’t open the windows for this same reason. Not a huge complaint but it was bothersome."
Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe - A Caesars Rewards Destination
6/10 Okay
"The front desk was helpful. Ordered food from the room and waited to be notified to pick it up, after two hours and no call I went over there to Harras which is the sister property. They didn’t know what happened and didn’t have my order. They refunded and took new order. When I arrived at the room to eat it they didn’t put utensils. I had to go back and get utensils from the front desk who located some for me. I finally got back to the room and the food was cold and there’s no way to heat it up. I didn’t eat it. The hotel was under construction and before 7am I could hear drilling and hammering. The carpet was being replaced in harras and it stunk. My coffee maker didn’t work either. It may be better once they finish but this trip was not enjoyable staying there"
