"We loved our stay at Basecamp. The room was small but had everything we needed. The bed was SO comfortable, I even took a picture of the label so I can get one for home! The location of Basecamp is perfect, it’s walking distance to the private beach (which you get a discount voucher for) and Heavenly Village where there’s an abundance of shops and restaurants. The only issue we had was there was nowhere to sit out - we bought some drinks from Target and sat out in the courtyard area only to be aggressively told to leave by the bar owner (honest mistake, we thought it was part of the hotel). We apologised and explained that we didn’t know and were still met with hostility. We didn’t go back but we would’ve happily paid for a drink had he explained nicely."
