"This resort exceeded expectations. While the value was not great - and the forced valet parking was a negative - everything else was excellent. The rooms were large (suites) and well maintained (although water pressure could be better). The staff was among the friendliest and most helpful of any recent hotel/resort stay. They went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast buffet - despite earlier negative ratings - was superb and a great value. Again, the staff was excellent. The property has a new general manager (Thomas). As we spoke to staff throughout our stay, staff was effusive in their praise of him. Speaks to a well-run property. Finally, it was our 54th anniversary and every where we turned, staff wished us a happy anniversary. We were surprised that some we’d not spoken to previously knew of our special day. Made for a very special stay."
"The staff was very helpful. They gave us a free smore kit to use at the fire pit that was lit nightly. Free soft drinks when we checked in. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were huge. Charming decorations in the room."
"The location is great and love the amenities, the only downside for us was no elevator for accessibility. The only accessible rooms are on the ground floor, and they only have 1 king bed which wouldn’t work for our family. I wish the property would invest in elevators so our family can stay there again in the future without needing to book two rooms."
"My wife and I really enjoyed Our stay at Bally's. Rooms were wonderful and clean. Staff people were kind, friendly and really professional. Had a wonder time in a nice Hotel. Thank you Bally's."
"Loved our spacious room for a 3 night stay, 1st floor location and ease of parking and safe and close to entrance. Enjoyed the spa bath and huge shower area...so nice! It was very convenient to exploring Lake Tahoe and enjoyed eating and browsing in Heavenly Village nearby. Would definitely stay here again."
"the room was so cute and clean i had everything i needed for my stay here plus extra like breakfast that was offered. staff were very friendly and helpful! thank you so much i’ll definitely be back next time i am in tahoe!"
