"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. She was consistently exceptional - warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She remembered small details, checked in proactively, and made each morning feel welcoming. "One of the loveliest hotels I have stayed in for a while. The reception staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. The spa facilities were lovely and once again the staff were really professional at the same time being friendly. Breakfast was busy but delicious although I would have preferred the plates to have been warmed. The hotel is a little further outside Oxford than I expected but easy accessible for park and ride at Thornhill and only cost £3 for parking and the bus into the heart of Oxford."
