"Very friendly and helpful staff"

"We enjoyed a good overnight stay at East Ayton Lodge Hotel, which was comfortable and well-situated. We were happy with our room and with dinner and breakfast. The room was fine for our dog and the garden provided an opportunity for a short walk ..."

"Beautiful coaching inn full of character with a warm friendly atmosphere and a log fire perfect for setting down with a drink and sample the food on the menu or specials board I last stayed here 15 years ago and it’s still amazing"

"Really enjoyed the location the hotel the food & the staff all excellent - only reason I didn’t give room 8 a 5star is because the bed was uncomfortable"

"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

"Lovely cottage very clean and friendly staff 👌"

"Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to the top Chef leaving. Expedia knew this and didn’t get back in touch with me to let me know or send me an email very disappointed in Expedia .The couple who run the establishment are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent."

"Really comfortable stay, good room, great breakfast, wonderful hosts"

"Nice breakfast in a traditional bed and breakfast."

"A good value for money hotel. Parking was absolutly fine & we were able to leave the car & walk into Scarborough along the coast, we have had a lovely couple of days."

"Lovely quiet accommodation just a few miles outside Scarborough good breakfast owner very friendly would recommend this B&B"

"A lovely little hotel situated near Peasholm Park. 10 minutes from North Bay and a scenic 35 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to South Bay (the more lively bay). Staff were excellent and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Food wise, do note that this hotel caters predominantly for the recently retired crowd (a very reasonably priced but very British menu such as kippers for breakfast and syrup sponge pudding with custard for pudding) We were the only people under 65 that I saw during my October...

"Nice hotel, staff were great, convenient"

"Absolutely perfect stay, from arrival, excellent breakfast, super comfy bed, good for parking, lovely staff, couldn't fault anything"
