"Excellent place to stay! Very centrally located, clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Everything was convenient and comfortable."
"The hotel is the most relaxing way to enjoy Taxco. The town is so dense because of the mountainside location, that you need a place to retreat from the noise, traffic and density of the folks working thier way up and down the cobblestone streets (with no sidewalks). The hotel provides a welcome respite. The Saturday night fiesta was similar to cruise ship entertainment, smart, sassy and fun. We enjoyed it all. Gracias. What I would suggest to management for weekend entertainment: The circular palapa club that overlooks the pool has a spectacular night view of the city. HIRE THE TRIO that played during the Sunday brunch: Los Betos. They were older, traditional and played all the songs from the 40s and 50's that all mexicanos love. Unfortunately, that night, the hotel had a singer guitarist, who was not on par with the other entertainment. Easy fix, and older folks will have a nice place to hang out with romantic tunes on stage. IMHO."
"Excelente experiencia en este hermoso hotel que te hace sentir como si estuvieras quedándote en casa de tu familia. Efren y Cecilia nos ayudaron en todo y fueron muy flexibles y amables. Definitivamente regresaré a este hermoso lugar "
"This is the best located hotel in town. Right in the middle of the action but not noisy. The sraff was wonderful and very helpful. The rooms have a great working AC and even though it’s a Best Western, it does maintain the local charm. It’s also super close to the Estrella de Oro pick up/drop off. But you can only walk there from the hotel because it’s a steep ladder! Best place to stay in town."
"Pros: The property is beautiful, with a great rooftop deck (which could be better utilized with more furniture) and discounted parking nearby. Lots of steps.
Very nice, helpful staff.
Cons: Only 2 outlets per room. Very noisy. No AC and very hot in April. Shower pressure is very weak, and it takes a long time to get hot water. WiFi service is terrible: slow and unreliable (much better at the hotel across the street and all the nearby restaurants).
Could use some refreshing/remodeling."
