"Palazzo Gambirasi is an absolute gem in the heart of Centro Storico. I normally go for branded hotels but found this by chance and couldn’t have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and a wonderful Rome vibe. Just walk out the door and you’re surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to many classic sites. The room was clean and charming with an exposed rustic wood ceiling. I will definitely return."

"Welcomed warmly by Marvin at reception and appreciated the information on the local area activities. Our room for 3 adults was very clean, comfortable, cool with A/C during record heatwave, and great bathroom & shower space. Many restaurants and shops including markets and laundry service within the block. Walking distance (30 minutes) from Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & Colosseum. We had a great experience staying here!"

They also helped us arrange a drop off to the cruise port that literally took us (and all our luggage for a total of 3 weeks in Europe) to just a few steps away from the entrance to the cruise ship. "We really loved staying here. It is SO close to the Pantheon we basically stumbled across it (how could you not) on our way to dinner the first night. Being our first time it was a real "WOW" moment. Great coffee shop right around the corner. User error, but took the second night to figure out the thermostat (power button is on the top, duh). Our host was excellent re: communication which was very helpful for alleviating first-timer anxieties. My daughter did not feel well during the trip and...

"The rooms were nice but the check in press was confusing. No one was a the reception desk when we got there and another guest got us in where we had the cleaning lady check us in. It was coordinating via WhatsApp with the manager after that for check in etc. We did enjoy the apartment and the location was good. Just lacking a few utensils and amenities like body lotion but we liked it."

Bed was incredibly comfortable which is nice after long days of walking. The host was very good with communication and helped us get our luggage up the stairs upon arrival and then again upon departure. Would absolutely stay here again."
