"The hotel is a bit dated in the rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and plentiful. Cleaning was poor, never vacuumed in five days, tables were left dirty, sheets never changed. Also there was mold on the window sills and my allergies acted up. A bit pricey for this level of room."

"The main building itself looks great and the lounge and restaurant have clearly been updated of late and are very classy. The food in the restaurant was of a fairly high standard and the staff very friendly. The part that lets the hotel down is the standard of the rooms in the adjacent building. The view was really nice, but the rooms are very tired indeed, with the shower in the bath (albeit powerful) something of a relic and I had to bend down to use it. "Just DON’T. We were misled by pics and text - paid £102 for a shoebox room with minimal facilities and staff not overly helpful. We chose as it looked like they had a Greek restaurant plus steaks - turned up to be told they only do pizzas! We went somewhere else to eat. No breakfast as we are told the toaster isn’t working! Total joke of a place. Didn’t even give them any trade arms the bar. Never to return. "
