"We had a lovely 3 night stay in apartment 4 which had an amazing sea view. The apartment was nicely decorated, was bright and airy and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return."

"The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our luggage was safely stored when we checked out. The room was tidy and had a nice bathroom. Included in the room was a kettle and a nice selection of coffee and tea. The breakfast had a good variety of tasty food including a full cooked breakfast, omelettes, toasties and smoked salmon bagels. The hotel is close to North Bay beach, Peasholm Park, Scarborough Castle, South Bay Beach, the North Bay Miniature Railway and Sealife Scarborough...

"Very welcoming host, the room had an amazing veiw. Very clean, good variety of tea, coffee and a hot chocolate. The bottle of water in the fridge was a godsend when I got back after a long day. Breakfast was very tasty, full english with a glass of fruit juice and a pot of tea( or coffee). It was so helpful being able to drop my bag off before check in... Which when I arrived I was able to check in early. Also I could leave my bag there when I checked out, meaning I didn't have to lug it around...

"This is a lovely clean hotel and round the corner from the foreshore..but there are steps going up to front door which not good for my knee..but if your fit I would say this is one of best hotels in Scarborough."

"I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

"Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!"

"Friendly helpful reception staff. Hotel clean but very dated and old building so floors squeaky, walls paper thin and heard every door bang so disturbed sleep. Location, okay about 15 mins into town. Beds really comfortable. Shower wasnt very powerful. Okay for price. Loved the views from both windows!"

"We have just returned home from a stay at The Albert last night. Lovely, welcoming staff, checked us in and gave all info, taking our breakfast choices for the following morning. Got up to the room to find it clean and well stocked with tea/coffee and water. Breakfast was lovely and exactly what we ordered. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again. Thank you!"

"Lovely big comfy bed. Whilst the room was clean and comfortable the decor was a bit tired. It was a hot day and the only method of cooling was a small fan and we couldnt open the windows. Also the curtain runners need sorting as we couldnt close one of the curtains properly Staff were friendly and efficient and breakfast was very good."

"Great location overlooking the beach. Very close to the open air theatre. About a 20 minute walk to a really good fish & chip shop (the Lifeboat) with eat in area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy. Body and hair shower gel in the shower and little bottles of shampoo and conditioner and shower gel on side. Breakfast good with enough choice. Only downside was the parking. I had emailed to book parking but there wasn’t anything booked for me. I was given a permit to park...
