I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. "The room was spotless. Clean tidy and cosy. When we booked in they gave us an opportunity to have a ground floor room which was especially helpful. Food excellent and prompt. Bar area comfy with prices on par with pub. Would recommend a stay here if coming to Canterbury. Staff extremely helpful, very big car park. "
