"First, the location of this hotel is wonderful. Very close to Bar Harbor without feeling like you were in the busyness of the town. The parking was easy and check in was simple. The beds were clean and the shower had good pressure; however, the smell of the room was a massive problem. We walked in and it smelled like wet dog. We opened the windows and balcony door and it helped but the smell wasn't cleared until we determined it was the air conditioning unit and turned it off. The other major...

"great location, nice property, room was spacious and clean BUT the cleaning products used were so strong smelling, that I had to leave the door open all night and still had a headache from the smell the next morning and had to check out instead of staying another night. also, the bathroom had no where to put stuff."

"The Holiday Inn is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The rooms are clean. Pool is heated. They have free washers and dryers. There is a bus to take u into town. The only issue- which is an isolated issue- is that we had a pool view room but because of a bush that was right in front of our balcony, we had no view. Other than that, the Holiday Inn is a great place to stay."
