"The grounds are very nice and cozy. The room was clean but showing its age but more than adequate for a night’s rest. A/c was good, the kitchen was nice to have although the fridge opened on the wrong side making it awkward to open. The desk folks were outstanding, even calling us and staying late to make our late arrival less of a hassle. The breakfast was nice in a pretty setting. I would re commend for longer stays. "

"Had a lovely 2 night stay at the hotel. Breakfast was good and fresh. Had one traveler who would have liked bacon instead of sausage. Was very touched to have two cupcakes waiting in the room as it was my birthday the day we arrived. Lovely staff and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again when in the area."

"You probably will not stay in one of the triangular cottages. Most rooms look like a one-story motel and are not well represented on the hotel web site. However, everything about the room was high quality and comfortable. Our room (07) overlooked a pond with anhingas, turtles and egrets. Free bikes with helmets and locks, free guest laundry. "

"100% recommend this hotel ( and I'm pretty picky). Well lit parking lot. Knowledgeable front desk staff. Clean, comfortable room with working temperature control , refrigerator, tv. Linens and bed very nice. Bathroom spotless. Shower amenities an added bonus. Breakfast beyond what I expected for an "included " with the room. To sum it up excellent addition to complete my stay. "A must stay if you are in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area. The house was spotless and had everything you needed for a homelike feeling. Spacious and well equipped with the necessities for everyday comfort in a quiet neighborhood. Close to main road with access to shopping and restaurants. Better than an "extended stay" hotel."
