"I am very disappointed in choosing this hotel. I was given a miserably small room on the first floor. The air conditioning in the room was not working properly, therefore I had to leave the window open to cool the stuffy room. I am not sure if the rooms soundproofing is of any good, but because of my open window, my sleep was disturbed in the middle of the night either by drunk passers-by or Madrids Sanitary Department collecting rubbish. The only positive thing I can mention about this hotel...

"Located in the heart of Salamanca, you cannot find a better location than this in Madrid. 100% walkable area, the best boutiques and restaurants near by, beautiful property, excellent warm service and great breakfast. Totally recommended!"

"Nos encantó hospedarnos en el Hotel Hospes Alcalá ya que la propiedad está en perfectas condiciones, las instalaciones modernas y completamente renovadas, tiene una maravillosa ubicación a unas calles de restaurantes, bares y las mejores tiendas en la calle de Serrano. Todo el personal, tanto de la recepción como del restaurante, muy atentos y brindando un excelente servicio al cliente. Sin duda, me volvería a quedar ahi en mi siguiente viaje a Madrid."
