"Really cool historic hotel, the staff was awesome, parking was easy. The whole town is very walkable from the hotel, the private hot springs were clean and nice. Breakfast was great, my wife and I stay in Lava 1/2 times a year and this was a great experience. "

"This motel was in a beautiful area, very safe and convenient from the interstate also. Second time I have stayed in this area, and will look to stay here again when I am in Pocatello. Property was beautiful, beds were extremely comfortable, room was very clean. I just wish I’d had more time to enjoy the motel. Staff was excellent. Also, I highly recommend this property."

"The cabins are so clean, comfortable and very close to everything. The fire pit was such a great addition to our stay. Overall this is the best place to stay when visiting Lava Hot Springs. "

"The complimentary breakfast doesn’t seem as good as it has been in the past. The toilet leaked from the handle every time we flushed. We almost always stay here because it’s the only hotel with a safe yard for kids and pets to run. They advertise a fire pit but it has never been working in the past two years. "

"We were in a 1st floor room that had a lot of foot traffic over us. The manager didn't even hesitate to give us a different room to check out. It was great! Much quieter, slept great! Can't say enough good about the above and beyond customer service. "

"It’s an older property, so what we expected . The room was clean & cozy. Great walking path behind the property to walk your dog. Hot pools are right across the street. It would be nice if there was coffee in the room. I did see a coffee pot in the lobby, but we were on the road before the lobby opened; the diesel truck out front needed to warm up from 5:30am-6am, so we were awake!! "
