"Cleanliness was an issue. I felt like I needed to wear shoes in the room because the carpet was old and dirty. The blinds had black finger and hand prints all over them. There was smudges on the bathroom doors."

"We were in need of a place to sleep for one night on a road trip with our dog, and I booked this Motel 6 thinking it would be bares bones, basic - but it was worse than I could have expected. Smelly, dark, ripped box spring, with a layer of hair along the baseboard, and the bathroom looked like something from a horror movie, with a door that didn't close either. It's a very old building that hasn't been updated much and shows. We wouldn't have felt safe or comfortable staying. On the flip side,...
