Place was a bit dilapidated but clean and staff couldn't be faulted
It was OK just didn't not like other guest smoking marijuana outside my window if they go to smoke they should have put smoking around the back also didn't like the fact that room was painted while I was there surely this should have been done after I've gone

The room itself was good. Although it was clean, the bedsheets were very dirty but this was replaced quickly after a complaint, although its hardly acceptable during covid.
The location was good also as are the tea /coffee. Shower was small but does a good job.
My biggest complaint is the noise, doors slamming, people talking loudly, laughing into the early hours of the morning. It has to be the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in, or even hostel for that matter. There's no soundproofing and a huge gap under the door didn't help. You can also hear people above walking, toilets flushing the works!
I got an email the day before our stay saying the breakfast was cancelled due to covid (although restaurants have reopened and no alternative such as take away or outdoor seating offered).
Overall very disappointing experience.
Really good breakfast, bed comfy enough, room a little hot shame on the students party across the road that all they could do was scream and shriek and annoy everyone else.
Being half-Thai I was given excellent service by the Thai manager! No half-measures! John Inga (Thai) Niwasnanda (Thai) Davies. It probably helped having a hyphenated name, too!
A very straightforward place to stay! My room was an adorable tiny closet of a space but suited my needs perfectly for one night stay. Loved the window, made all the difference. Bed was comfy enough. Tiny bathroom but again perfectly suited. Wouldn’t recommend if you are claustrophobic or on the larger size.
Thank you for a comfortable night!
I liked the overall friendliness and welcoming staff! Clean and comfortable bed with tea and t.v. facilities. Lovely full

Great value for money, good breakfast and good location. Marked down for: traffic noise at the back, no air con + bedroom window either closed or fully open, lumpy pillow (but plenty of choice), poor water pressure, hairdryer requested but not received.

Basic room with a capital ‘B’.
Lovely Reception Staff - very efficient & well organised.
Decor is ‘tired’ and could do with a lick of paint. Room wash hand basin & top floor shower drains need unblocking.
Otherwise, less than 10 minute walk to Southampton Central train station.

Clean and breakfast good. Staff friendly. Quite noisy though early morning. Parking really bad so had to park 2 streets away
I love the location of this property. We walked to the SeaCity Museum and to the play. Lost of restaurants and shopping mall within one mile. The area is very safe to walk even at night.
One toilet did not flush properly. It was hot under a doona. I would have preferred a sheet and blanket.

Everything basic and for short stay is ok.
Except the breakfast, the lady make by your order, lovely.
Close to train station and just by walk for 20min to St Mary's Stadium.
Stayed here one night with my 5 year old son as he had a 24-hour hospital appointment and was easier to stay in Southampton was greeted by a lovely lady who gave me the key told me the what time breakfast was and showed us to our room.
Room was very clean small but everything he needed shower toilet, only downfall was the big gap around the door and the bottom of the door let in lots of light in at night. I'm a very squeaky bed every time I turn over.
Breakfast was lovely I had full English no faults was great very tasty and could have continental as well which my son did have definitely worth the money and will be staying there again next time we need to
