"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it. "The room was small as advertised. I had a double bed as a solo traveler and it was perfect. The bar and patio were nice. Excellent location. The only small complaint I have is that when the outside temperature got real hot, the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up. It was still comfortable and this heat wave isn't anything like NYC has seen in a long time. Written 7/2/2026. If I ever come back to NYC, I'll be staying at the Pod again! "The entire room and bathroom is small so it's a good option if you don't expect to stay in the hotel for long. The room has dings on the wall and the bathroom shower floor had stains that don't seem to get out. There were some areas that seem like they normally aren't cleaned. The breakfast was good with a decent variety of food. It does get pretty packed. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the subways and close enough to Times Square/ Broadway shows that there are always people walking around...
