"The air conditioning was out and we were not made aware until after we had already arrived. We were not offered a fan or any way to stay cool other than opening the window if we happened to be put in a room that allowed the windows to be opened."

"This hotel is more a motel, and ok for one or two nights. That is really who they cater to, folks with either delayed/cancelled flights or layovers who just need a place to lay for the night. Basic breakfast: toast, waffles, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice. The worst beds you have ever slept on, tip: stay in the middle. The sides slope drastically down, you may just roll off. Very overpriced for what you get. Baisley park close by and the small outdoor area are the only bright spots. Oh…begins...

"The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life I have stayed in hotels all over the country, and without question, Casa Azul in Jamaica, Queens was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my entire life. From the moment I entered the room, I felt like I had made a terrible mistake. The condition of the room was beyond unacceptable. I personally saw roaches and bed bugs during my stay. The mattress had blood stains on it, and the bedding contained semen stains and numerous cigarette burn marks....

"Had a solid stay. Very accessible from jfk airport and the subway. The staff were all lovely and the deli across the road is a must visit. However what I would say is the area excluding the deli is quite rough and the room wasn't cleaned at all during our stay (12 days). The aircon is far too loud."
