"The check in was smooth.. id asked to check in earlier which was accommodated. I had a contact number for any problems or needing help. Earlie check in cost an extra £10. Very happy with room, nice and clean.staff very polite. Parking just down the road.. shame its not free. Lots of place's to eat in. Generally happy."

"Mayvene hotel I would definitely recommend to anyone. Angie & Scott would go above an beyond to help out So friendly helpful definitely stay again one of the best guest house we have ever stayed at nothing is to much trouble.we came as clientell to the Mayvene.guest house and left as good friends.will definitely go back to Mayvene guest house again without a doubt "

"*Clean and everything you need.* Nancy the host runs a tight ship here and was very helpful throughout (also makes a great English fry-up). If I owned a BnB I'd want her running it. I was here longer than expected whilst house-hunting - I'm used to S/C apartments (hard to get in Boston unless paying well over odds) - but was very happy with the room I had (front right at top which has own WC). The locals are friendly enough once you get to know them. Yes a bit dated etc but for the price you def...
