"Perking easy and off road. Staff friendly at reception. Room and general environment very dated and old. Old brown carpet wrinkled, furniture dark and chipped. Room and bedding clean although shower grouting a bit mouldy. Had the feel of a care home. Bed was comfy. Coffee/tea/kettle and packaged milk provided but had to fill the kettle via a glass as sink too small. Shower lost power for a while on second day but was generally ok. generic soap and shower gel provided, no other products...

"Our experience at Number 10 Hotel was unacceptable from the moment we arrived. We had booked the room only a few hours earlier, but at check-in we were unexpectedly told that an additional £50 holding deposit was required.
