"The Ski Inn would be a great place as a medium sized family gathering or just as a drop-in off the road & leave next morning or after a day of sking. The economy room is very tight, just enough space for 1 person to walk around the bed ( there were no other sized rooms available when I was booking for a place to drop for night to break up long drive in our travel.)The worse thing is the lock system- I am well educated and typically very good at figuring out how things work. The location is unbeatable—you can see Denali right from the property, and it may very well be one of the best places in a lifetime to catch a clear view of the mountain. Moose always visit nearby. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming. They shared lots of great local tips and recommendations for unique things to do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. We would definitely stay here again!"

The guide and recommendations provided were fantastic because they were all based on the host’s own personal experiences, making them much more helpful and authentic than typical travel suggestions. "Older property but clean and convenient for one night stay before catching ferry from Valdez. Price was higher than I expected for property and area but due to short tourist season I understand this is how it goes. Front desk staff was kind and friendly."
