"We arrived at Grand View after having a bad experience at another place. What a difference we had here. The lady on reception (Sophia I think) was so welcoming and informative. We booked some activities with her. She had info about the island, beaches, places to eat and then got staff to show us to our room and take our luggage. The room was amazing. Spotless and spacious. "I was amazed at how beautiful the views from this hotel was. Quaint cute little hotel room. Clean. Staff was sooo nice. They gave me a blanket when they saw me watching the sunset and it was a little cold. Also brought me wine a one fruit free of charge! They were so helpful and kind. Really enjoyed my stay here. "The ONLY positive thing about this property was its phenomenal location and that is where the positives end and the negatives begin. For starters, the property did not pay their cable bill and as a result there was no TV in our room. No big deal because we can live without TV on vacation. In fairness, the manager responded quickly and tried to “fix” a “cable” problem, but we already knew what the problem was and it wasn’t a wire, it was non-payment!!! He said it would be fixed the next day...

Bit of a mix up with shuttle pick up at ferry, but it was not busy time of year and there was plenty of taxis waiting. The included breakfast menu was large and very delicious!
