"Trail at the hotel to see the Piton is wonderful and the property grounds are very nice and relaxing. The room was nice and clean and had a cool outdoor shower. However the pool area isn’t well kept, the front desk staff is semi friendly depending on who you get and the food selection isn’t great. The waitress’s are extremely nice and sweet! I don’t recommend using the hotel for a taxi service they up charge soo much we didn’t realize until we were talking to someone else and realize we were paying twice the amount for a taxi each day. I highly recommend using no limit taxi or other local taxi drivers they will come right to the reception and pick you up and the taxi will be 100% nicer and cheaper. Overall good location that’s close to all the main attractions in that area just don’t use their taxi service."

"La Haut Resort, Soufriere, St. Lucia offers spectacular views of the iconic St. Lucia Pitons. It gives a unique experience for travelers seeking a peaceful, upscale, and immersive retreat in the heart of nature. Nestled in the lush, tropical hills of the island, this boutique resort gave us the perfect blend of seclusion and luxury, with panoramic views of the majestic Pitons and the Caribbean Sea. Our room was designed, with a Caribbean colonial yet modern style with natural wood finishes, and local artwork. We loved the daily natural spring water bottles delivered to us daily. Our double french doors opened up to a large private balcony that overlooked the beautiful Pitons, a view that never got old. Our onsite activities were exclusive to using the infinity outdoor swimming pool that overlooked the Pitons or strolling through the lush Fruit & Flower gardens of the property. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that guests have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Special shout out to Bernadette, Sebastien and Rochelle who went out of their way to help accommodate and ensure that we felt welcome. This resort is ideal for couples, honeymooners, or anyone wanting to reconnect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a world-class property."

"We stayed in the Upper Temple Suite, which was huge and had a lovely view of the Pitons and trees buzzing with hummingbirds from the balcony/patio. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. The Chocolate Making experience was wonderful and better than expected. The best part was the ability to walk down the road to Anse Chastanet beach any time for free snorkeling and swimming. Caveat: the rooms are NOT soundproof. It was a small, intimate setting, and we preferred the quiet and privacy over larger, busier resorts."

The location is more local than anything so if nightlife is a priority to you know you must travel about an hour away to Castries but it wasn’t for me so I was absolutely more than satisfied. "I take great care in doing my research before booking each vacation and I had high expectations for this resort. I am happy to say all expectations were absolutely exceeded! This is an astonishingly beautiful and unique spot to stay. Every single staff member was amazingly gracious and welcoming, we enjoyed the food and absolutely loved this stay. The resort attracts very interesting guests and would highly recommend booking the excursions. Prices are reasonable and the drivers are excellent…roads are not for the faint of heart!’ Truly a beautiful island and resort is in the heart of it in every way. Highlight for us was doing the Gros Piton hike, we are in our mid fifties and although a challenge, loved every minute of it (although next day definitely a beach/snorkel/recovery day!) We also really enjoyed the low key yet very talented nightly entertainment, excellent way to end the day! So very thankful to have spent five nights here, cannot wait to to return!"
