Grand Hotel Royal

"This is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful location in Sorrento which makes it very easy to get around. We enjoyed the dining room and veranda/bar areas and it perfectly matched our needs. The staff is very attentive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It has beautiful grounds with gardens and the rooms are very silent. The views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius are stunning. We would recommend this to any traveler."

"Lovely people working at the hotel, friendly and fun. It's a small local community based in the bay, who all look out for eachother and keep it well (sometimes you need to charm them! 😄) Great location for beach access and secluded. We visited whilst the 300 festival happened and were involved with all the locals, their food, culture and music. We all had a dance. You need a moped otherwise you will be dependent on a bus, which aren't great and always busy. Otherwise long walks await. The rooms do exactly what you need, sleep. Any other time you should be outside adventuring. Thank you for having us n for the fun. Jake & Sacha"

"This hotel is marvellous. First impressions were excellent from front of house staff, very welcoming including the porter who helped move my car to a safe spot. Room was lovely in the villa with a nice balcony and view. Very clean hotel and pool with constant attention to cleaning or maintenance. Very attentive pool attendant and bar staff during the day. Restaurant is very good with excellent food and brilliant staff, so welcoming. Nice bar with a great view over Sorrento, Vesuvius and the bay of Naples All in all 5 Star."

"My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was fantastic. The room was very clean and the perfect size. We really loved the rooftop pool and bar. It was a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was very kind and helpful. The location is excellent. You can get to the main square in about a 10 minute walk and are close to the bus and train station. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

La Vue D'Or

"Hotel La Vue D’Or was truly a fantastic location to stay with the magnificent views! They also included daily breakfast which was American Continental but still good to fuel up and get ready for the day..especially with the Expresso machine. I had eggs, bacon, bread, tomato, cucumber, cheese on a daily basis. Alongside with yogurt with fruits and my cappuccino. The shuttle bus was very convenient to bring us to the main side of town and also returning back to the hotel. I wish the hotel told us to specifically look for the bus with the hotel name and it also picks up a few other hotels nearby, this way, on our first day we wouldn’t think we missed the shuttle. The rooms were cleaned on a daily, the main floors were always clean. There was just some mold in our bathroom above the toilet but that didn’t ruin our stay. Just something facilities should tale care of. Again the views were magnificent! The pool was always clean as well. The staff was very professional and the dinner options was really good and decently priced. I would most definitely stay here again!"

"Lovely stay for four nights. The hotel is a short flat walk into the town of Sorrento (17-20 mins). The hotel also offers shuttle which is handy if you are going out for the night and have your heels on. Breakfast was lovely, everything you would expect of a 5 star hotel buffet breakfast. The rooms are spacious. We had a balcony room overlooking the sea which was beautiful but having a garden facing room you wouldn’t be disappointed. The garden is also very beautiful. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends and family."
