"There was a drip coming under the bathroom sink that seemed pretty minor but by morning it had soaked all new folded towels on the shelf under the sink and flooded onto the bathroom floor. I went to tell the front desk because there's no phone number to call on the non working phone on the hotel room but the line was 75 people deep due to a national dance competition in town. However, later in the morning we ran into our sweet housekeeper that had seen the issue and she let us know that she contacted the engineer dept. The following day the drip leak was gone. Unfortunately, two days later it was back again. I think maybe you need to really fix the pipe in the bathroom or room #4006. Everything else we experienced was wonderful! We loved this hotel. It was Soo convenient to musicals and restaurants and tourist activities. We will definitely book here again in the future."

"Well for New York City , this is a excellent property, the rooms are clean , and the costumer service is great, the manager was always very helpful as well as the staff , the Italian restaurant connected to the property was ok , not great food could be better , but overall the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating I recommend this property 👌"

"Overall it was great. When we arrived we were greeted by the staff who helped us with our luggage. When we first arrived into our room it was less than what we expected but the next day I went back to reception to see if we could move and we were sent to the 12flr (from the 4th) and wow! Honestly big upgrade. Met our expectations to 100%. To pay for breakfast to be included is a bit of a shcam. You still pay but from a ‘special menu’. I wouldn’t do that again. Instead I’d go down the street and buy breakfast at Carve diner. It was the essence of New York including NY accents and great food. The location CANNOT be beat. It was the best part. When I go back I’d stay there again. "

"We have been staying at The Empire 1-2 times per year for 15 years to attend the ballet at Lincoln Center. It is a simple walk across the street to the theater, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. We have always been happy with our room, the staff is excellent and gracious. I highly recommend the hotel."
