"Nestled in the hills surrounded by lush greenery, the Alver Hotel was our base for kayaking in the spectacular fjords. We stayed in an updated cabin that was well equipped with the basic necessities, including an in unit washer and dryer. Our stay includes a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. If possible I would give a sixth star for the friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and memorable."

"Flott sted. Enkle og litt små rom, men godt utnyttet. Gode muligheter for å henge opp klær på henger samt flere knagger på bad og rom. Sengene var gode, med memory form overmadrass. Ha hed såpe. Såpa i dusjen virket som av billigste type (muligens håndsåpe). God frokost og et ekstra pluss for at de bruker EKTE EGG i eggerøra (brødet var litt tørt. "

"Paese molto carino, con il ristorante dell’hotel comodo o volendo a pochi km altri ristoranti. Personale molto disponibile e gentile, abbiamo avuto un problema e ci hanno dato tutte le informazioni necessarie per risolverlo, tutto in perfetto inglese. Grande servizio. Camera spaziosa e confortevole, bagno comodo e pulito."

"We had the most wonderful stay at the Hjelle Hotel. A must if you are in the area. The dinner each night was incredible, all food made with local ingredients and so delicious. Our 9 month old was with us and the owners went out of their way to accommodate her and provide what we needed. Also, the views from the hotel grounds are out of this world. We hope to come back one day- our stay here was a highlight of our trip to Norway. "
