"We didn't realize this was part of a church. This was a little weird but added to the experience. The man checking us in was very friendly and gave us some good tips. Whole place is dated but clean. No parking out front, but it's not a long walk to the back."

"The kitchen was very well equipped with several cooking stations and sinks. Two refrigerators. The big windows with the ocean view. Many dining tables. Very clean washrooms and showers. Comfortable beds. During our 15 days trip we stayed in many hostels snd guest houses. This one we liked the most. The only thing that can be improved was the weak internet connection."

"This was the first day of our third trip to Iceland. Of course, we booked this place mainly for the view of Kirkjufell, but it turned out to be less impressive than we had expected. Although there was a kitchen, the cooking area was extremely small, and there was only one sink. At mealtimes, all the guests gathered to prepare their meals, so my family and I ended up having instant cup noodles and snacks in our room for dinner instead. The room contained nothing more than a bed and a small desk....

"We arrived later in the evening and easily checked in at the restaurant. Online it says something about checkin only being from 4-6 but the restaurant is open late (there were guests eating there when we arrived) so I'm not sure if that's correct or why it would be the case. Upon arrival, we quickly dropped off our belongings in the room & headed to the sauna & thermal bath. The sauna wasn't hot but the thermal bath was very nice (again, not too hot but nice). "They’ll tell itself was nice and clean. However, the restaurant was very limited. We ended up, with the advice of the stuff, driving 10 now minutes to a beautiful and great restaurant."

"One of the most beautiful hotel that have stayed in. Love it for the hospitality and views are breathtaking especially the sea+morning sunrise. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly - they knocked on our door to let us know on the aurora sighting as was awaiting it. Recommend to stay 2 nights or more as our 1 night was too short. Breakfast was lovely & night having a cold Iceland beer was great! Thank you so much for the experience & warm welcome! "

"Very comfortable hotel in a great location. Liked the lounge areas for reading. Restaurant had a nightly buffet that was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Onsite parking. They have a path out to the coast and saw a lot of photographers and bird watchers enjoying the property around the hotel."

"Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit Küchenzeile gebucht. Alles war vorhanden. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind traumhaft. Alles war sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben auch die Sauna genutzt, der Preis zur Nutzung ist fair. Lediglich das Sofa müsste erneuert werden, da das Leder abblättert."
