Small Islands of Venice Budget Hotels from RM551

"HVAC did not work. Room was very warm and it was only about 60 degrees for a high. Cleaning service made the bed and replaced towels, but left dirty dishes in the room - not just one day, but multiple days. The lower floors of the hotel smelled like a backed up sewer line… Aside from all that and hearing drunks in the middle of the night on the street below, all was wonderful…. LOL I had the window open because neither AC nor fan worked… Not sure if I got the “Expedia room” or if all the rooms were this terrible - but I’d pass on this place!"

"Nice breakfast, very clean property in nice, quieter, location and very accessible. Nice bar. The entire staff was very attentive, helpful and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend to others. "

"The hotel is in an excellent location right under the Rialto Bridge and has a retro charm, with rooms decorated in old venetian style. The breakfast had a good selection of items and the staff was helpful. However, the room was really hot as the air conditioning is not available until it is summer (not operational in spring). They provided a fan which helped but it is not what I would expect from a 4star. "

"I booked in the annex building and was assigned to Room 509. I am 5’ll” in height and kept hitting my head on the room’s ceiling beams. Not sure if all the rooms are all the same. Other than that, the location is perfect and centrally located in Venice, the hotel staff are great, and the hotel is very clean. "

"*In the morning (only stayed 1 night) found bed bug. Took video and showed employee. *Booked a family of 4, only 3 bath towels provided. So I went to the lobby, which was empty and was about to ask for another towel, when two groups of new customers arrived and tried to cut line, with the employees approval (after all, I already booked). Tired of this line cutting, I insisted that I be helped. *slight unpleasant smell permeated the hotel * Location was near St. Mark's which was a plus."
