"We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Savannah Historic District and had an amazing time overall. The location was fantastic and made it easy to explore everything in the Historic District. Our room was very clean, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The only downside was the valet parking fee, which was about $48 per night. However, parking is expensive throughout the Historic District, so I was aware of that before booking. The breakfast hours were also a little earlier than I would have liked (6:00 AM–9:00 AM). Extending it until 10:00 AM would have been nice for guests on vacation. One thing that did bother us was that dogs were allowed in the breakfast area. It had been raining, and one wet dog was shaking off water near where people were eating, which made us uncomfortable. Because of that, we chose to eat breakfast outside the hotel instead. If I stay again, I probably wouldn't purchase the breakfast option. Other than those minor issues, we had a wonderful stay. The clean rooms, excellent staff, and unbeatable location made it a great experience. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to friends and family."

"We flew into Savannah in the evening, wanted to explore the historical down town district, talked to the staff and they allowed us to check out the next morning, stow our luggage in the trunk at valet parking and tour the area and we could come back for our rental car anytime that day, was so convenient as there is not very much parking in that area."

It’s rare to not have a single interaction with hotel staff that is subpar but in this case, everyone we encountered went above and beyond to accommodate. I would highly recommend the JW as a top contender for Savannah!"
