The National Museum of Singapore is a great place to learn about Singapore's history. It is the oldest museum in Singapore but all the galleries have a unique modern flare, which I loved.

I highly recommend their current exhibition Singapura: 700 Years. It commemorates Singapore's 50 years of independence and is the perfect way to learn how Singapore grew from a small village to the financial capital that it is now.

Lobby is air conditioned with a pleasant scent. Centrally located and the MRT station is right outside. Liked that there are restaurants and a 7/11 within the hotel courtyard. Room was a bit small but bed was very comfortable.

Hotel room was very clean and the view form the balcony absolutely breathless. Only breakfast was a bit disappointing - a huge room like in a chip restaurant. and a small selection for those who don't like Chinese breakfast.
