"Had a fantastic time at the Jetwing Vil Uyana, the accommodation was excellent and the staff could not have done more for us. The hotel is in a secluded location, in a managed jungle setting with abundant wildlife and is within easy reach by taxi of Dambulla and Sigiriya. The food was excellent and served in a picturesque dining area overlooking the lake. We had an extremely relaxing three nights and would thoroughly recommend the hotel to others. "

"The last bit of approach to the resort is through an unpaved road. So its natural to be skeptical about what awaits you. But being in a secluded area probably gives the luxury of space. I must say I was pleasantly surprised to get such a property at a fairly reasonable price. There are 2 buildings. "Amazing resort. Wonderfully laid out, with large walking tracks, huge green area nestled with unusual flora and fauna. Rooms are in spread out villas. Attentive staff. Great breakfast. It really felt like one is living inside a manicured forest!"

"Only one major issue. The first night of my stay the hotel moved housekeeping staff into the room above me late at night. The banging and the noise was ridiculous and when I went to the front desk at around 11:00 p.m. there was nobody there, no night staff. Hotel shouldn't be putting staff in the same quarters as paying customers. "

The staff, especially at the restaurant (we had a bbq dinner buffet and breakfast buffet the next morning) were amazing. So friendly, courteous and helpful. "It is a very cute hotel, friendly staff in a quite place. Their breakfast doesn't have many options (just eggs and fruits and toast). The road to lead to the hotel is quite tricky. A narrow road between grass that you drive for a good 10m. Nothing is around there. The signs on each room are really creative. But it is cheap and clean!"

"My husband and I thought this was really neat. It's almost as though we were in the middle of the jungle. Gorgeous garden and pool. You'll also see some monsters, frogs and lizard! Staff were very v friendly we arrived almost 10pm our first night and they were willing to serve us dinner! We were grateful after a long day with no food! We would recommend it if you're in sigiriya! "
