"This is a convenient location for not only the Lima, OH area but also for those looking to do something at Ohio Northern University (ONU) in Ada, OH some 15 miles away. ONU has its own inn but it gets full and even when it isn't it can be expensive at times as the Inn is the only place in town. The Howard Johnson's is a great nearby alternative. The Howard Johnson's has a great enclosed entertainment area with a pool but also a pool table that can be used by guests for $1.25 a game; a air hockey table at $1 a game and ping pong for free It also has playground sets for toddlers in another area. Near various restaurants as it dues not have its own restaurant. Although it has its own great hot breakfast. Unfortunately, the last day we were there happened to be the first time after staying there several times that they had less than good food. It still wasn't terrible. A bonus is that breakfast is served until 10 AM every morning. It is a older hotel so it has issues. Even my TV was a pain to use so it isn't perfect. Overall a worthwhile stay. It will be our last stay there though. This is not an indictment of the hotel. We utilized this HoJo's several times when we visited my son during his time at ONU. However, his time there has come to an end as he graduated last weekend. I will kind of miss the place. I will certainly miss ONU."

"We did not get there until 11pm. There were two rooms which is ok but one can only be unlocked with the master key and the other was second floor (stairs only). The room on the second floor had head and pubic hair in the bathroom gross! Breakfast was ok but biscuits and gravy were great. There is an older gentleman who will make your eggs to order. Not sure how often he works since we did a week night. Front Desk staff were great"

"Staff at front desk are very disrespectful they over charge for low quality rooms non smoking rooms and smoking barely have a quality difference. It’s coo to go if you are tired and need to rest but other than that it’s REALLY TERRIBLE. I paid for two nights staff woke me up banging on my door with a hidden fee from nowhere I booked through hotels.com"

"We came in to have a girl's night, as soon as we came inside it felt very comforting and home like. It was very nice, the rooms are very well clean, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that are already in the shower we're convenient and a very nice feature. When we went to check out the lovely lady at the front took our trash for us, we truly appreciated the kind gesture. Overall was an enjoyable stay and would come back again!"

"The staff person t check-in was very helpful and friendly. Check-in and checkout was very easy. I was particularly pleased to see the large bathroom space even though my wife was not along. It was pleasant to have ample space tp shower and wash without feeling crowded."
