A good value for the very cheap price. Nothing fancy, no bells & whistles, just a decent, clean, relatively quiet motel. Easy parking. Close to restaurants, gas stations, etc. Our only complaint is that the pillows were awful; as in, the least comfortable, flattest pillows we've ever used on our travels, & you only get 2 per room. By the time we realized how bad they were, there was nobody at the front desk to get more from. The staff seem to be working mostly at the larger hotel next door which owns Lone Tree, so it's not always as easy to connect with them unless you go to the other hotel front desk. Otherwise we were happy enough with the experience.

Room was older but clean. Bedding was clean. Shower was hot. Not sure what else you could expect for the inexpensive rate. Perfect room for the outdoorsman or roughneck looking for a place to rest his head for the night.

Lucky find
We came to town for a big wrestling tournament and did not expect to find a room last minute. This property was conveniently located, clean and had what we needed for a quick overnight. Great price and great stay.

In order to eat breakfast at the hotel next door, you would need to stay at that property. We offer the lowest nightly rate in Sidney which reflects the fact we do not offer breakfast at the Lone Tree Inn. We do provide in room coffee. I am sorry to here you were not pleased with the lack of accommodations.

Debra. You did not mention a smell to us when you checked out and additional toilet paper could have been given at any point during your stay. When you mentioned it didn't feel safe, I asked if something happened during your stay and you said no. I'm sorry you did not have a great stay with us.

Quiet and Comfortable
Hotel was very quiet, room was clean, no funky smells in the room. The air conditioner work great the TV worked the fridge worked all around everything worked. The internet signal was a little weak but it worked fine. I will return

The beds where fine. This hotel is run by two others with the same staff. Walked over to the best western staff that works for this hotel. Said she could provide toilet paper but no towels because they are low on staff. Said the maid service comes in at 8 am. Didn't show up until 8:45 am. Didn't have towels. So I had to go to loves stop to pay for a show with fresh towels for me and my sister. Also caught someone trying to break into our room when the window was open for fresh air. The screen had a hole and the person ran away Glad I have a firearm because of an attempted break in. Montana doesn't have money and everything is too far. If I need towels or important things they need to be provided. Other hotel have provided that service. If you can manage three hotel that you own, You might as well have just one. People where complaining outside my room because there was no staff. The employee wasn't professional and had a hard time providing my change to break 108.00 out of 200.00 which isn't good. Bad state, no calculater means incompetent status. Please do math on paper and check your till or the safe. Please don't hand me $10 in quarters. I don't want to get robbed in this tough economy. It takes allot to make me upset. But if service for basic necessities aren't there, can't provide the correct change, Dress decent, that isn't good. I lived in the country and understand laid back clothes. But thanks for the cheap room.

Michael, You booked a room for 1 adult but 2 adults occupied the room. In our policies listed with expedia, we state that we do not accept cash as a form of payment. The front desk clerk that checked you in was trying to help you out. We do not accept cash because we keep very little on hand to be able to give change back. We also have listed "limited housekeeping" available in the policies. If we had been asked, we could have provided you towels or anything else you might have needed. I would like to mention that we do not have a loves truck stop in the area, and you never reported someone trying to break in to your room. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. Please read hotel policies before booking.

This property was the worst experience of my life after they were provided with an ID for my service animal and a credit card one of their staff with alcohol on her breath confronted me continue to call the room and beat on the door saying they did not have a credit card or I did not tell them I had a service animal called the police and tried to have me thrown off the property… do not trust them do not stay here!!!

This property was the worst experience of my life, when I checked in I provided a credit card and an ID for my service animal, after being there for approximately eight days one of their staff started harassing me about my service animal which she kept calling a pet she was calling the phone in the room and beating on the door and disturbing me when I had to work 12 hour shifts… finally she had the police come and she tried to throw me out in the middle of the night because she said I didn’t tell them I had a service animal or give them a credit card which was a lie…Do not trust this property and do not stay here!!!

There was someone to check us in but I think see was high on something. That was the only time that I saw any one at the front desk. There was no one around the front desk if you had any questions or needed anything. The rooms said that they non- smoking room’s but they smelled like they were smoking room. The area around the hotel is a little scary at night as there are a lot of oil workers that stay in this hotel. Very disappointed in this hotel and will never stay there again. I did only pay $45 for the room so you get what you pay for.

Excellent location. Most of staff helpful and friendly. One exception. Check-in and checkout somewhat confusing & inconvenient. Bad timing. Front desk staff not always available. This was mentioned on the web site. New roof being put on and they started about 6 am. This was not mentioned. One heck of an alarm clock! Safe & well lit property.

Power was out - Owner abandoned property.
The power was out in town due to bad weather. When we arrived the owner was leaving the property and we could not get their attention. I could not even get into the room. Attempts to contact them for a refund for two days have gone unanswered. The phone just rings and rings. Hotels.comn customer support will also not side with me either so I have to keep attempting to chase them down myself. I understand things happen, especially with weather, but I should not be forced to pay for a room I didn't use due to means beyond my control.

We never did charge the hotels.com credit card and we have reached out to the hotels.com team to ensure a credit is processed for your card.
