"The room was lovely. We were given an upgrade to a 2 bedroom which we didn’t need but was appreciated, The room has a memory foam mattress which was very comfortable. The place was roomy with place to put suitcases & place to make breakfast. There were Tim Tams in kitchen station & complimentary water & dairy milk chocolate in fridge. The bathroom had a jet tub/shower combination which was great but may be a bit difficult for an older person to get into; we didn’t have any issues with it though....

However, the motel itself is quite run down and in need of some serious maintenance. There were marks and dirt on the walls, DIY repairs and patched holes, chipped and missing sections, very tired furniture and frayed carpet throughout. There also wasn’t a proper...

"Our apartment had a lovely outlook over the river. It was near the ‘new’ bridge but was very quiet, very clean & well appointed. The bed was comfortable & bathroom pristine. It was close to shops & restaurants which were an easy walk along the waterfront or through the back of the hotel to a mall nearby for supplies. Our car is high so we couldn’t use the underground parking but there was ample parking available at the back of the hotel."
