"while not the most attractive location (having parking lots and a highway nearby), I give it five stars for convenience of location and also for sufficient soundproofing so that we never heard the highway from a room on the eighth floor, not did we hear people in neighboring rooms. A particular highlight for us was the rooftop onsen. After a full day of walking, tram-riding, and sightseeing, it was a treat to visit the onsen and relax in the hot water while overlooking the nighttime lights of the city and its harbor."

"We were there for the cherry blossoms at Goryokaku Park, and this hotel was a convenient place to stay. It’s located right next to Hakodate Station, making it very easy to travel in and out of the city using public transportation. The hotel also offers complimentary toiletries, which you can pick up in the lobby area. The staff were nice and friendly throughout our stay."

"Great location near trams and buses. Very close to the major attraction of the fort and easy to get to the major trains like the JR station. It was raining two of the nights and the hotel had complementary umbrellas to use during our stay. "
