"Very clean, good standard of decor, excellent bathroom and shower, spacious as a twin room, good availability, plenty of parking, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Good value. Not busy at the time of staying - one week night in October - so maybe just ticking over nicely."

"This was an excellent place to stay central to the many visitor attractions e.g. Felbrigg Hall, Sherringham, Wells next to the Sea etc. The Public house was welcoming, staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. It's definitely a place to return to. The bedroom was large and very comfortable with plenty of refreshments available. The bathroom was clean and the shower of a good size. Plenty of towels were available and we slept well on the comfortable bed. The breakfast was great there was a good choice of cereals, jams, bread and croissants. This was followed by a cooked breakfast of our choice. The Sunday lunch was fabulous with great crunchy roast potatoes. The homemade pie was also very nice. Can't really fault it at all a great place to stay and eat at."

Very comfortable room with good facilities We only stayed for one Sunday night so managed to get a parking space but I doubt that would happen again during the week or in high season. Double yellow lines everywhere so would need to go to a parking lot. Not sure how much that was."

However, we were in a standard room which was not of the same standard. Shabby decor, small & cramped; only one chair, internal phone not working, WIFI unusable in room, bathroom sink didn’t drain and toilet ran constantly, poor shower. If you have any mobility issues you need to let them know before booking as there is no lift and we had a shower over bath."
