"Very friendly staff, room was very clean & beds exceptionally comfortable. We had a couple of meals in the restaurant, these were of the highest quality and thoroughly enjoyed! The breakfasts were also high quality food served by pleasant staff. It was a pleasure to stay there plus enjoyed meeting the 3 dogs! "Unique opportunity to stay in a windmill. We stayed in the room at the very top (the wheel room). The views are stunning and although it was a very windy couple of nights the occasional creaking from the wooden structure only added to the experience! Breakfast was excellent. "This was our first time back in over a year since under new management. We had the most lovely breakfast hamper in our room of yogurts , fruit ,museli , fresh milk , honey with tea coffee chocolate & juices. This was so much better for us personally as did not have to rush up to go down to breakfast in the morning giving us a much more relaxed approach to the day ahead . It was replenished if you put your sign on door next morning. I much preferred the layout of the bar area tables & chairs in the pub , and decorated tastefully Halloween . We booked a table in the restaurant for the evening and the food did not disappoint. Both hubby & I had the plentiful rump steak which was cooked on the grill to perfection . A short walk to Runton beach via public footpath from road . Can’t wait to come back loved our stay 10/10 !"
